Each year April 7 marks World Health Day to highlight the most pressing challenges for public health, and to celebrate work being done across the world to create healthier communities. We understand that ensuring the health and well-being of our students, and the local population at large, is central to our goal to help communities thrive.

Our two Beatrice Tierney clinics in Bududa and Namisindwa districts serve over 25,000 people annually, with a wide range of services, including immunizations for children under 1-year-old, malaria treatments, HIV counseling, pneumonia treatments, treatments for skin diseases and pre-and ante-natal care visits, and more.

But in recent months our clinics have experienced an increase in both attendance and requests for preventative health services, putting a strain on our resources. Inflation has had a significant impact on our clinics as well. Your support today can help cover the cost of essential services that are desperately needed in the region. Our clinics also serve our students.
